Hamas asks Iran to stop attacking neighboring countries

Hamas, the Palestinian group, has publicly called on Iran to stop targeting its neighboring countries. This is the first time Hamas has made such a request since the war in Gaza began.

Hamas also stated it affirms its right to self-defense. Separately, Hamas has held talks with a board led by President Donald Trump, as tensions involving Iran complicate plans for Gaza.
