U.S. issues flight alert for military activity over Mexico and Central America

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued an alert for pilots about possible military activity in the airspace over Mexico, Central America, and part of South America. Mexican officials, including President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum, said the warnings were precautionary and had no operational impact on flights, and that there were no reports of U.S. military flights over Mexico.
