Foreign officials adjust Taiwan visits and affirm one-China policy ahead of China trips

Two Canadian Liberal Party members ended their visit to Taiwan early. This happened just before Canada's Finance Minister, Chrystia Carney, was scheduled to travel to China.

Separately, South Korea's President, Lee, emphasized the importance of strong relations with China and reaffirmed a one-China policy regarding Taiwan. He made these statements ahead of his own planned visit to China.
