Kano political dispute over state officials and party defections

A political dispute is unfolding in Kano state. Rabiu Kwankwaso has accused the state government of forcing officials to sign documents to defect from their party.

Separately, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has stated that its decision to dissolve the state's executive committees is final and will not be reversed.
