Autopsy finds Cuban immigrant in ICE custody died of asphyxia, ruled a homicide

A Cuban immigrant who died while in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had his death ruled a homicide by a medical examiner. The autopsy found he died from asphyxia.

ICE had stated the man died while attempting suicide. However, a witness has said that guards pinned and choked him before his death.
