Balendra Shah, a 35-year-old former rapper and engineer, is set to become Nepal's youngest prime minister. His party, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), won a landslide victory in the parliamentary elections.
Shah's party defeated former Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli and secured a supermajority, leaving the opposition as the weakest in parliament. The election was the first held since major protests led by young people, known as Gen Z, earlier in the year.
