Thailand extends work permits for migrant workers and invests in robotics

Thailand has extended a deadline for about 375,000 migrant workers to renew their work permits. This move comes as the country is trying to boost its economy and compete with neighboring countries like Vietnam.

Separately, Thailand's Board of Investment approved a 10-billion-baht project to build a manufacturing base for humanoid robot parts. At the same time, a skills training program called the Luban Workshop, a collaboration between China and Thailand, is working to build job skills for workers.
