US military says it killed an al Qaeda leader in Syria linked to an attack on Americans

The US military says it carried out a strike in Syria that killed a leader of an al Qaeda affiliate. CENTCOM, the US military command for the Middle East, said the operative was connected to an ISIS ambush in December that killed three American service members.
