Debris from intercepted drones damaged buildings in Dubai, including a high-rise on Sheikh Zayed Road and a structure in Creek Harbour. Authorities reported no serious injuries from these incidents, but four people were injured when two drones fell near Dubai International Airport. Air traffic was briefly paused but later resumed.
Similar incidents were reported in other Gulf states. A fire broke out at fuel tanks at Kuwait's airport, and a fuel terminal in Abu Dhabi's Musaffah area was targeted. An oil tanker was also hit off the coast of Oman. Authorities in several countries confirmed they were conducting interception operations against drones and missiles.
Separately, three U.S. military jets crashed in Kuwait in what was described as a 'friendly fire' incident. All six crew members were reported safe. The U.S. Pentagon later identified six U.S. soldiers who were killed in a separate attack in Kuwait.
