U.S. military plane lands in Mexico and 92 high-impact criminals are transferred

A U.S. military aircraft landed at Toluca Airport in Mexico and later returned to a U.S. base. Mexico's Security Cabinet said the landing was authorized, but a Mexican political party demanded an explanation, arguing the Senate had not authorized the entry of foreign troops.

In a separate event, Mexico transferred 92 high-impact criminals to the United States. Claudia Sheinbaum, a Mexican political figure, said she has always rejected U.S. participation in fighting drug cartels within Mexico and dismissed the idea of a U.S. intervention.
