Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been communicating with Iran's new president, Masoud Pezeshkian. Erdogan told Pezeshkian that Turkey values Iran's stability and opposes any foreign intervention in the country.
Erdogan said he sees diplomacy as the only solution to issues surrounding Iran's nuclear program and hopes any unrest in Iran will be resolved peacefully. In a separate comment, he also praised a ceasefire agreement in Syria involving Kurdish groups.
