Belarus leader Lukashenko signs pardon decree and comments on domestic issues

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree granting a pardon. The pardon was reportedly for a woman convicted of extremism due to her 'life situation'.

Separately, Lukashenko was briefed on the country's situation during a period of severe frosts and praised the police response to an incident in the Smolevichi District. In other comments, he stated he is categorically against smoking and alcohol and discussed methods to combat drunkenness among workers.
