German shipbuilder TKMS seeks major investment to win Canadian submarine contract

German shipbuilder Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems (TKMS) is trying to secure a multibillion-dollar investment package. The company is doing this to strengthen its bid for a Canadian submarine tender worth about $12 billion.
