India launches flights and faces shipping crisis as Gulf conflict disrupts travel and trade

India is operating 58 flights to the Gulf region to evacuate stranded passengers due to airspace disruptions from the West Asia conflict. The crisis has also left 38 Indian ships stuck in the Persian Gulf, with three sailors reported dead, and is causing significant economic and human impact.
