Wildfires in Argentine Patagonia force evacuations and destroy thousands of hectares

Major wildfires are burning in Argentina's Patagonia region, destroying over 13,000 hectares of forests and plantations. The fires have forced the evacuation of around 3,000 tourists and are threatening to surround a local town.

Separately, Argentine President Javier Milei has vowed a zero tolerance policy for antisemitism. A group of ex-combatants has also filed a legal complaint against Milei for comments he made to a British media outlet.
