Lithuania reports farm disease outbreak and faces same-sex marriage court case

Lithuania has confirmed its first case of Newcastle disease, a contagious viral infection affecting birds, at a farm near the capital city Vilnius. Separately, the European Court of Human Rights is examining legal cases brought by two same-sex couples against Lithuania.
