Uruguayan president visits China, meeting with officials and touring a university

The president of Uruguay has arrived in Beijing for an official visit to China. He is the sixth foreign leader to visit the country in 2026.

During the visit, he toured Beijing Foreign Studies University. An expert commenting on the visit said China's predictability and consistency in foreign policy are gaining global appeal.
