Japan seizes a Chinese fishing boat and arrests its captain near Nagasaki

Japanese authorities have seized a Chinese fishing vessel operating inside Japan's exclusive economic zone near Nagasaki. The captain of the boat was arrested. This is the first such seizure by Japan since 2022, and it comes at a time of existing diplomatic tensions between the two countries.
