Italian prime minister says government will not resign or reshuffle

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni told parliament her government will not resign or undergo a cabinet reshuffle. She stated the administration intends to govern for its full five-year term.

Opposition leader Giuseppe Conte, who leads the Five Star Movement, responded by saying his party is ready for a progressive challenge. He noted there are more shared proposals between the opposition and the government than people think.
