Dhaka empties out and air improves as residents leave for Eid

Dhaka has become largely deserted as residents travel out of the city for the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. The city's air quality has improved to 'moderate' levels during this period of reduced activity. Large religious congregations, including one at Parliament House, were held in the city before the exodus.
