A series of tragic incidents and public safety concerns in Delhi

A woman and her three daughters were found dead with slit throats in Delhi, with police naming the husband as the prime suspect. Separately, an air ambulance flying from Ranchi to Delhi crashed in Jharkhand, killing all seven people on board.

Other reports from the city include a racist attack on three women, a six-year-old girl killed in a hit-and-run, and police data showing over 800 people, including more than 500 women, were reported missing in the first 15 days of 2026. A SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Leh also declared a full emergency due to an engine failure but landed safely.
