Security threats and investigations in Delhi and Kashmir ahead of Republic Day

Authorities in Delhi are investigating a series of security threats ahead of India's Republic Day. A terror module was allegedly planning to target global coffee chain outlets, and a case has been filed against Khalistani terrorist Pannun over Republic Day threats. Separately, the Enforcement Directorate said Al-Falah University in Faridabad hired doctors without proper checks.

In Kashmir, the Lashkar-e-Taiba group issued a fresh threat to Hindus. Police are collecting detailed information about mosques in the region, a move some residents have criticized. Separately, ten army troopers were killed and ten injured when their vehicle fell into a gorge.
