French President calls Iranian leader to urge end to attacks and talks

French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Macron urged Iran to stop what he called unacceptable attacks and to engage in good-faith negotiations to help de-escalate tensions. The two leaders agreed to maintain contact.
