Belarus leader makes government appointments and honors women ahead of holiday

Alexander Lukashenko approved a series of new appointments to local government bodies and the State Control Committee. He also presented state awards to women ahead of International Women's Day.

Lukashenko met with the Iranian ambassador and commented on events in Iran. He also spoke about the need to honor the memory of World War II.
