Trump offers US Navy escort for tankers after Iran claims control of Strait of Hormuz

Iran announced it has complete control over the Strait of Hormuz, a critical oil shipping route. In response, President Donald Trump pledged that the U.S. Navy would escort tankers through the waterway and provide insurance for them.
