Trump postpones military strikes on Iranian energy sites

Donald Trump ordered a delay of planned U.S. military strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure, including power plants. He stated the pause was due to what he called 'productive' talks aimed at ending hostilities and claimed an agreement had been reached on 15 points.

Iranian officials, however, publicly denied that any such negotiations were taking place, creating conflicting accounts of the diplomatic situation. The order halted 'any and all' strikes on these targets for a period of five days.
