Indian opposition leaders criticize the BJP in various political disputes

Several political figures in India have made public statements criticizing the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Asaduddin Owaisi, leader of the AIMIM party, clarified that his party will not form an alliance with the BJP or its NDA coalition. He also responded to a BJP leader's comment about him having four children by asking who was stopping the leader from having six. Separately, actor Riteish Deshmukh defended his father's name after remarks from a BJP leader, and the murder case of Ankita Bhandari has become a political issue for the BJP in the state of Uttarakhand.
