EU's Kallas pushes for more Russia sanctions, rejects energy deal

The EU's Kallas has rejected a call from the Belgian prime minister to normalize ties with Moscow and resume buying cheap Russian energy. She stated that weakening sanctions on Russian oil is dangerous and that approval of a new, 20th package of EU sanctions against Russia is long overdue. Kallas also welcomed Brussels' detention of tankers carrying Russian oil and is exploring a UN plan to secure the Hormuz oil route.
