Samsung unveils new Galaxy S26 phone and raises prices in key markets

Samsung has revealed its new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26. The company is raising the phone's price in several major markets, citing higher costs for components like memory chips.

At the same time, Samsung has started mass production of its latest high-performance memory chip, called HBM4, which is used for artificial intelligence. A Samsung executive said demand for these memory chips is expected to remain strong through 2027.
