São Paulo faces heavy rains, dengue vaccine rollout, and a series of local incidents

The city of São Paulo is under alert for intense rainfall, with other Brazilian states also at risk for severe storms. The city is also launching a dengue vaccination campaign using the Butantan-DV vaccine in all municipalities starting Monday.

Separately, a series of unrelated incidents occurred in the city. A woman died and her husband was hospitalized after swimming in a gym pool, with reports the woman had complained about a bad taste in the water. In another event, a gas explosion injured a woman and her three children. Meanwhile, singer Mara Maravilha has left intensive care but remains hospitalized.
