Explosions and drone debris cause injuries and damage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Explosions were heard and drone debris fell in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, causing damage and injuries. Dubai Airports confirmed an incident left four people injured, and flight operations at Dubai airports were suspended.

Debris from intercepted drones sparked a fire at the Burj Al Arab hotel and struck a hotel on The Palm Jumeirah. The Burj Khalifa was evacuated. In Abu Dhabi, one person was killed by falling debris, and residents received emergency alerts to take shelter.
