Alexandria authorities conduct multiple enforcement campaigns against violations

Local authorities in Alexandria, Egypt, have been carrying out a series of enforcement campaigns. These operations have included removing 10 unauthorized structures in the eastern part of the city, executing 22 orders to demolish building violations and encroachments, and addressing 19 cases of illegal construction.

Separately, security forces intervened to stop the circulation of a video that was offensive to citizens in Alexandria. In a different case, the public prosecution is investigating after a father was accused of being responsible for the deaths of his four children, whose bodies were found in the Alexandria salt marshes.
