EU prepares to tighten Russian oil sanctions while importing billions in gas

The European Union, based in Brussels, is preparing new measures to further restrict Russian oil imports. At the same time, the EU has been accused of continuing to fund Russia's war effort by importing €7.2 billion worth of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG).
