Chinese leader Xi Jinping holds calls with Russian and U.S. leaders on the same day

Chinese leader Xi Jinping held a video call with Russian President Vladimir Putin and a separate phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump on the same day. Xi and Putin discussed their bilateral relations, which they described as entering a new stage of growth and being a stabilizing force.
