Supreme Court allows Indian investigators to access political consultant's phone

India's Supreme Court has ruled that the Enforcement Directorate, a federal financial crimes agency, can access the phone of a man connected to I-PAC, a political consultancy firm. The court rejected the man's plea to protect his privacy. In a related case, the court has also temporarily halted police complaints filed by I-PAC against the Enforcement Directorate, which had questioned the timing of raids on the consultancy's offices.
