Egypt sends large aid convoys to Gaza as Rafah crossing prepares to reopen

Egypt has sent over 120 convoys of humanitarian aid to Gaza, with the latest one being the 127th 'Zad Al-Izza' convoy. The aid includes thousands of tons of supplies, such as winter aid and materials for rebuilding schools.

A committee managing Gaza's administration says the Rafah crossing with Egypt will reopen in both directions next week. Some reports say Israel is seeking to control the crossing and limit the number of aid trucks entering.
