Russia announces new military equipment deliveries and drone defense developments

Russian officials announced a series of new military equipment deliveries and technological developments. Defense Minister Belousov reported that over 10,000 new weapons entered service with the Russian army in January, including new batches of BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles and Su-57 fighter jets with updated sensors.

Several new systems were highlighted, including AI-equipped kamikaze drones, the 'Hermes' anti-drone missile system now in use, and a new ground robot designed to carry anti-tank mines. Officials also discussed testing a new marine engine and developing a high-noise-resistant barrage munition.
