Amazon and Syngenta announce major UK investments

Amazon is launching two new services in the UK. The company is partnering with Lidl to sell plug-in solar panels to help customers lower their energy bills, and it's also bringing its new Alexa+ service to the UK market.

Separately, the agricultural science company Syngenta is building a new research and development centre in the UK. The company is investing between $120 million and $130 million to construct the facility.
