The Israeli military issued a mass evacuation order for southern Lebanon, warning residents to flee north. Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon have reportedly killed hundreds of people, including children, over the past week. The Lebanese Health Minister stated that Israeli strikes have killed 394 people since early March, and the Red Cross described a mass displacement crisis with nearly half a million people fleeing their homes. Human Rights Watch accused Israel of illegally using white phosphorus in Lebanon.

In Iran, state media reported that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in what it called US-Israeli strikes, leading to public mourning and protests. In response, Iran conducted strikes on Israel's Beit Shemesh, reportedly killing eight people. Separately, an Iranian missile struck a residential block in Tel Aviv, killing one woman and wounding dozens. The Israeli military reiterated its evacuation call for southern Lebanon, estimating around 300,000 people have already left.
